I had a very disappointing stay at Sam's Hotel. First off, the room was outdated and in desperate need of renovation. It felt like stepping back in time, and not in a good way. To make matters worse, the refrigerator in the room had mold inside it, which is completely unacceptable. The customer service was also subpar; the staff seemed indifferent to my concerns and didn’t offer any solutions to the issues I faced. I ended up checking out early, which was frustrating, especially since I lost money in the process. Overall, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I won’t be returning to Sam's Hotel in the future. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

The rooms are big and spacious. The bathrooms are second to none. I love that you have to have a key to get up to the rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend and do recommend this hotel to my friends.

Parking was across the road with a covered walkway. The staff was friendly. The bar was nice and they had a band playing. We gambled a little, it was a smaller casino with both smoking and non smoking floors. The weather didn't cooperate (we were there to golf) so we only stayed one night, but we would've stayed longer and explored a little bit. Would stay here again

This was our 2nd time to stay. It gets 3 stsrs because the rooms and bathrooms are HUGE! This is an older hotel, not as clean as we would have liked. Walls are thin! Heard the alarm, conversation, and TV next door. I had one staff person that checked us in that was pleasant and the other woman acted as though she did not want to help or that I was bothering her when I checked out. Don't know if we'll ever be back in Shreveport, but if so, we'll probably stay somewhere else.

The machines are gross and the pictures are from early 2000’s on the website. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling off. The water was also on and off.

This was our first time going to Shreveport and we had a nice time. The property is a little dated but it was well kept and clean. The restaurant/ coffee shop was really good. Pricey but that is expected at a casino resort. We had a really nice view from our room, the casino was a little small. Overall a nice place and would visit again.
