Not bad, but not great.

There was construction on the road getting to and from the hotel was difficult. The view was obstructed by the construction. There were other small issues that all added up, so my friends and I were disappointed in our stay. Staff were great though.

This is a beautiful hotel and the staff are extremely friendly. They have 2 concierge's on staff, Ricardo and Jonathan, who were extremely helpful in providing us with excellent recommendations about places to explore for food and drink. We were also given tips on finding some cool hidden speakeasy bars around the city within walking distance of the hotel. We enjoyed Brasserie 701 for breakfast and Kyo Bar for dinner which were both conveniently located at the hotel. We are excited to return. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Hotel Place D’Armes was by far the best hotel I’ve ever visited. The staff were so kind, the room was clean and cozy, and the location of the hotel was ideal as both old Montreal and downtown Montreal were walkable, with the metro 2 minutes away as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Montreal and I will definitely be back!
