The area where the property was very efficient far as the beach, restaurants and other things. Breakfast was good. Only downside was yesterday, which was Saturday me and my family went down to Breakfast I asked did they have more grits and the 2 cooks that were down were very rude about putting out more. The lady stated were the grits i have out not good enough for you. I didnt say anything and just walked out. My husband even stated that they were very rude and rubbed everybody the wrong way. The ladies that were there serving breakfast Wed-Fri was amazing. Other than that we loved the breakfast

Stafford is really nice. Rooms in first view are clean and in order but they really need to update the bathroom it’s really old showe the same all old and if feels bumpy when you step inside like it has a mattress underneath. We move a little to the from the night stand to look for more outlets…please don’t do it what you will see is unexpected really a mess and dirty. We wen for Easter so hotel was packed and has great reviews and some friend recommended it but maybe is because it has history or is practical and a great restaurant also with history but for the price you can have a better place cellar comfy with parking space as there is not space at all and neighbors stays at the front of their rooms chatting loud and partying even the hotel don’t allow that to happen after 12pm. It’s a nice place to go but for real y has big potential if they upgraded. It fill like a 60’s place. Need to upgrade and bigger parking space. They can also do something for their pool. Everything is old. Don’t mean to be rude but it’s our experience and our honest opinion of the place. Thank you

Check in is at 4:00, we got there at 4:30 and had to wait half an hour for our room to be ready. If checkout is at 11:00am, why would you not have a room ready at 4:00???

If you were going on a cruise, the parking was free. We came in off of our flight three hours before check-in. They let us leave our luggage in the office and we were able to walk around and enjoy the beach. The hot tub was amazing. The pool was great. The staff were very friendly.

This hotel is located in a convenient place, close to the cruise port and close to piers for fishing. We liked this! However, the fact that the rooms have carpets and are close to the ocean, it smelled « dampness ». There was also a lot of work being done on the property and the pool.

Charming beach getaway spot

Great place for a family weekend. Charming rooms with individual decor. Comfortable, clean, amazing onsite breakfast. Enjoy dinner at one of the 2 restaurants next door. Steps from the beach.

Good stay, but could be better.

The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The ocean view was great. The only downside was that we couldn’t enjoy the pool, because the water was cold. The breakfast serving lady might have been nicer.

Nice place. Very nice beach and ocean views and a nice restaurant. Even if not staying in a room with a view, there’s a great observation deck. Great location - close to everything. Best complimentary breakfast I’ve had in any of the hotels in this price range I’ve stayed in thus far. Raw oysters for $1/each at Nicks next door - 3-6pm.

Really did enjoy their breakfast and the staff was very nice. I liked that you parked your car inside a gated area. The only drawbacks were the walls were a bit thin and the shower head had mold all over it. That would be a super easy fix for them if they just would scrub it clean or even better put a new shower head in but we did not take a shower only because of the shower head being so bad off. The rest of the shower, tub, and tile was actually clean. The beds were wonderful.
